Kim is thrilled to be an instructor at Over the Moon as she loves supporting children and their families. She experienced firsthand what a warm and welcoming community Over the Moon is as a mother. Kim holds a Bachelors of Science from Wheelock College in Human Growth and Development. She has been in the education field for over fifteen years and is working to complete her masters in Special Education. Kim spent six years working with students at the Perkins School for the Blind where she discovered her passion for sign language and communication. Kim also worked for the Mass Developmental Disabilities Council where she developed and implemented a new curriculum to help at-risk adolescents in the inner city to build self advocacy and emotion regulation skills. A life-long resident of the South Shore, Kim lives in Scituate with her husband Justinus and her two preschool daughters. Kim enjoys yoga, volunteering at the animal shelter, reading and playing on the beach with her family.
