Over The Moon offers both the American Heart Association “Friends and Family” Infant and Child CPR class. *This is not a certification course.

The Infant and Child CPR course will teach you the skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and foreign body airway obstruction for an infant (0 to 1-year-old) and child (> than 1 year old). This hands-on class is taught by a Certified American Heart Association Instructor. You will be practicing the life-saving techniques. You learn on 2 different size mannequins (baby and child). Other common safety concerns for infants and children will also be discussed.

Babysitting & CPR Certification Class (NORWELL)

Ages 10-16 years old

Fee: $170 per person for a 6 hour class, IN-PERSON

We are excited to now be offering a Babysitting & CPR Certification Course for ages 10-16 years old taught by an experienced Registered Nurse.

This 1 day class from 9:00-3:30 will include a 3 hour Babysitting Certification course designed to assist children in being better babysitters and knowing the do’s and don’ts of being home alone. The first 3 hours of the course will cover information on child development, playing with younger children, basic first aid, fire safety and prevention, and the overall responsibilities of babysitting. Participants will also get hands-on practice with caring for infants, including diapering This is a great course for those who want to start babysitting or just want a review.

The second part of the course will teach you American Heart Association-Heartsaver AED CPR Certification and get you ready to handle any emergency that might arise while babysitting. This 3- hour course allows you to learn the important lifesaving skills of CPR and Choking, with hands-on training with real life scenarios practicing on mannequins.

Upon completion of this class you will receive a Babysitting Certificate and a 2 year American Heart Association CPR Certificate.
