Over The Moon PlayZone is a safe, indoor play space for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.  Current class participants are welcome to visit the PlayZone on the day of your class, free of charge.

Public is invited to the PlayZone… Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 2 pm ( $10/one child, $12/2 children and $15/family max)  Please call ahead to reserve your spot 781-347-3189.

It’s potty time! Whether you have tried to potty train your child in the past or this is your first attempt at what can be a trying process, we will provide you with strategies and support to successfully make the transition from diapers to big kid underwear!

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. Our goal is for parents to leave this workshop feeling knowledgeable, ready and excited to teach their child to use the potty!

Zoom video conferencing will be used for this virtual workshop. 24 hours before the workshop, you will receive an email with your Zoom link.

This workshop makes a great follow-up to our Positive Parenting 101 workshop, but can also be taken on its own.  In this “open-discussion” class, we will spend the entire 1.5 hrs addressing  families’ unique discipline challenges using problem-solving and research-based strategies.  Aside from gaining support for your own family, hearing from other families and discussing together about possible approaches is a wonderful learning tool.  Bring your questions and a notebook!

Positive parenting is a great parenting tool that is simple to learn!

When it comes to behavior, life with toddlers and preschoolers can often be quite challenging!  Do you find yourself wondering how to handle difficult behaviors?  Are you wondering what behaviors are age-appropriate and which ones need disciplining? What does ‘discipline’ mean anyway? Are you wondering about ‘time-outs’, how to use them or if they are even effective? What are other discipline and limit-setting options? Our positive parenting class will answer all your questions, provide plenty of personal guidance, and give you and your partner tried-and-true tactics to use at home.

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. Our goal is for parents to leave this workshop feeling knowledgeable and confident.

Melissa Breen, Over The Moon’s Child Development Director and Teacher will present this important, research-based workshop, parents will learn strategies for helping their child build a healthy relationship with food. We will discuss:

• Parents’ role in feeding their child
• Ways to avoid power struggles around food
• Tips for picky eaters
• Strategies for responding to difficult mealtime behaviors (i.e. not staying at the table or playing with food)

In addition, caregivers will be provided with a developmental overview of toddler and preschool eating, as well as suggestions for nutritious snacks. There will be time for questions and support with individual concerns throughout the presentation.

Over The Moon offers birthday parties on weekends to celebrate our favorite little people’s milestones! Our parties include playtime in our popular PlayZone with the birthday child’s 10 best friends, along with additional playtime in the movement room with an optional 30-minute music class. Decorations and a toddler-sized table for your snacks and dessert will be waiting – and the clean-up is on us! We know first birthday parties, along with toddler birthday parties, are a big deal and we are here to make your party amazing. We will have a personal Over The Moon host for you to make sure everything run smoothly.

Basic Birthday Party, $250

Over The Moon hosts toddler birthday parties, available on weekends, for children ages 0-4. With the Basic Birthday package, you can bring your own theme! We will supply all the paper products, including table clothes, plates, napkins and utensils in the colors of your choice. Choose two from:
red, blue, yellow, pink, purple, black and gold.

• 1 1/2 hour party
• 10 children (each additional child $10)
• Toddler tables and chairs for 10 children
• Use of cafe area (including additional seating for up to 20 children/adults)
• Large adult buffet tables x 3
• Round table x 1

Enhanced Birthday Party, $350

Includes everything in the basic birthday party package plus…

• an additional 1/2 hour (2 hour party in total)
• 1/2 hour “Music Mini-Class” (for 1 to 5 year olds) led by your Over The Moon party facilitator held in our Movement Room.

ZOOM! Playgroup is a drop-in play adventure for little ones ages 7 months to 4 years and their caregivers.  It is on Saturday mornings 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. – perfect for working moms and dads, along with stay-at-home parents.

ZOOM! Playgroup starts with circle time, followed by free play in the PlayZone and an age-appropriate craft in the cafe. Zoom! ends with a brief circle time led by one of our instructors, including music and bubbles!

The best part of this indoor playgroup is the community: building friendships for little ones AND their parents. Feel free to bring a snack to enjoy in our cafe with your new buddies after playgroup.We hope to see you here!

$15/one child, $25/two children, $30/three children.
