Mom and Baby Fitness Classes

Self-care is incredibly important for expecting and new moms, and we have  many mom and baby fitness classes to make it easy, rewarding, and special. We offer prenatal yoga, mom and baby yoga, and mom and baby barre.

Mom and Baby Yoga is a relaxing and centering class for those weeks and months after your baby’s birth that are both so special, and also sometimes stressful!  This 45-minute class will offer soothing bonding time with your non-mobile baby plus a chance to make friends with other new moms.

Mom and Baby Barre is full of strength and stretching exercises to get you feeling great about yourself while enjoying bonding time with your non-mobile baby. This class involves toning moves with your baby in the carrier. 

Yoga is a wonderful, relaxing, uplifting class to learn how to breathe deeply and consciously relax. Prenatal fitness regimens like yoga can keep you limber, tone your muscles, and improve your balance and circulation, all with minimal negative impact on your joints.

Mom & Baby Barre

Mom and non-mobile baby

Fee: $60 for 4 week session

Our mom and baby barre class is full of strength and stretching exercises to get south shore moms feeling great about their postpartum bodies while enjoying bonding time with their little ones. This workout is run in a relaxed environment so you can stop to feed and comfort your baby as needed. Boppies and bottle warmers will be available.  Open to moms and their babies who haven’t yet started crawling yet. Don’t forget your front baby carrier, exercise mat, and water bottle.

*If you are less than 12 weeks postpartum please be sure to consult your healthcare provider for clearance to participate.

Kyle Dempsey shares, “The practice of yoga has been an anchor and refuge over this past year as I have transitioned into the role as a mother. I am inspired to share with others navigating early motherhood. I teach a dynamic and therapeutic Vinyasa flow, soundly grounded in breath work, alignment and in the fundamentals of anatomy. I strongly believe that yoga is for everyone (and their babies!) and every body. Recently, my teaching is influenced by my baby girl who reminds me daily of how challenging, ever-changing and beautiful life is.” 

This relaxing 45-minute class lets you bond with your baby while you exercise and connect with other new moms! You are welcome to stop to feed and comfort your baby as necessary. Please bring your yoga mat and water bottle, boppies and bottle warmers are available. $60/ 4 week session
