Virtual Visual Scheduling Workshop

Fee: $25 virtual parent workshop

Early childhood educators and therapists have used picture schedules and social stories for years. Now you can learn how to use these strategies to help your own young child to adjust to change, to successfully transition to a non preferred activity (bedtime anyone?). In this workshop you will learn how using picture schedules and social stories can set your kids for success and reduce tantrums and behavioral issues.

Often for young children it is easier to understand pictures than words especially when anxious or upset. Some benefits of starting children with visual schedules at an early age…

-Allows the routine to be clear and predictable

-Reduces anxiety and behavior problems

-Helps children see how their days and routines are scheduled and gives them a tool to refer to during the day
