Jess teaches New Mom and Baby groups at Over The Moon.
Jess is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of nursing experience in a variety of settings. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 2008. Upon graduating, Jess started her nursing journey at the bedside caring for cardiac patients. It was at the bedside where Jess discovered her passion for mental health. This led to her work as a psychiatric nurse for adolescents at Mclean Hospital and pursuing her graduate degree specializing in psychiatric nursing. Jess obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from Regis College in 2015.
In addition to working at Over The Moon, Jess works at Southeastern Psychiatric Associates in Randolph where she provides psychotherapy and medication management to children, teens and adults. Her dog Bella is a certified therapy dog and part time co-therapist. Since becoming a mom, Jess has felt drawn to working with new moms and their babies. Jess is a mother of two girls. She lives on the south shore with her husband, their children, 2 dogs, Bella & Coco and cat. She enjoys spending time with her family, being out in nature with her dogs
